Wow! Friday was the Biggest Loser Final and, what a show! We saw all of the contestants that had been Eliminated along with the fantastic four Finalists! Check out the before and after pictures below!

Eliminated

Kate Garraway welcomed us all to the Final and the loved ones of all of the Biggest Loser contestants were sat in the audience. Angie and Richard were also there to see whether their contestants would make them proud! There was a real party atmosphere in the room and everyone looked really glam! The Biggest Loser ran for 8 weeks while there were contestants in the house and then they all had 9 weeks between to carry on getting slim and fit.

All of the contestants returned for the Final and those that had been Eliminated still had a prize to compete for. The one who had lost the most in body weight percentage would win a luxury holiday for two at a Spa in Scotland – mmmmmm sounds like just what the doctor ordered after all that hard work!

One by one, all of the Eliminated contestants came onto the stage, all glammed up and looking fantastic. They had all carried on losing weight once they had been Eliminated and the results were definitely showing!

The three that really stood out from the rest were the lovebirds, Miriam and Mark and Dad of the House, Dave. Miriam looked every inch the Hollywood Starlet in her hot pink strapless dress and, her confidence was almost bubbling over! Dave looked like a very dapper gentleman and Mark looked very happy indeed with his great new body shape. Jamie, Katey and Michaela looked amazing too and, obviously, VERY happy with their new body shapes.

Here are their before and after shots – how gorgeous do they all look?

Raz was the first one onto the scales. She originally weighed 15 stone 1lb and was Eliminated in week 1. She now weighs 12 stone 11lbs. She has lost a total of 2 stone 4lbs which is 15.17% or her total bodyweight.

Next up were Rick and Michelle who were Eliminated in week 2. Rick originally weighed 21 stone 5lbs. He now weighs 19 stone 4lbs which is 2 stone 1lb lighter and has lost 9.70% of his total bodyweight. Michelle originally weighed 16 stone 3lbs and now weighs 13 stone 11lbs. She has lost a total of 2 stone 6lbs which is 14.98% of her total bodyweight.

Next up was one half of the Yellow team, Jennifer. She was Eliminated in week 3. She originally weighed 23 stone 5lbs. She now weighs 20 stone 13lbs and has lost 2 stone 6lbs. She has shed 10.40% of her total bodyweight.

Miriam and Eunice were the next to take to the scales. Eunice had to leave the competition in week 4 due to medical reasons, leaving Miriam to battle on alone. Miriam was then Eliminated in week 5 but had started the Biggest Loser journey weighing 15 stone 2lbs. She now weighs 11 stone 6lbs and has lost 3 stone 10lbs. She has lost a total of 24.53% of her original bodyweight! Eunice came into the house weighing 23 stone 8lbs. She has shed 3 stone 7lbs and now weighs 20 stone 1lb. She has lost 14.85% of her total bodyweight.

Dad of the house, Dave, was next and was the oldest person in the house. He was Eliminated in week 6 but had come into the Biggest Loser house weighing 23 stone and 3lbs. He has lost 4 stone 13lbs and now weighs 18 stone 4lbs. That is a total bodyweight percentage loss of 21.23%.

HGV driver Mark was next to be weighed. At this point, the person who was in the lead to win the luxury holiday was Miriam. Would Mark steal the prize from her like he had so many times while they were in the Biggest Loser House? Miriam always seemed to come second to Mark in the Challenges and other competitions in the house!

During his time in the Biggest Loser House, he had done very well with his weight loss and was very determined. He went in weighing 25 stone 13lbs. He has lost 7 stone which is a total bodyweight percentage of 27.00%. He now weighs 18 stone 13lbs. He managed to steal the holiday from Miriam yet again!

Lisa was up next. She was originally Eliminated in week 1 with her mum Raz but returned to the house in week 6 and was then Eliminated in week 7. She originally weighed 25 stone 10lbs. She has managed to shed 4 stone 2lbs and now comes in at 21 stone 8lbs. She has lost 16.11% of her total bodyweight.

One half of the Pink ladies, Michaela was next to step on the scales. She was Eliminated in week 8 of the Biggest Loser so had almost made it to the Final. She went into the house weighing in at 15 stone 9lbs. She has lost a total of 3 stone 2lbs and now weighs in at 12 stone 7lbs. She has lost a total bodyweight percentage of 20.09%.

The last two people to be weighed were Katey and Jamie. Jamie had come into the house weighing 28 stone 8lbs and Katey weighed 22 stone 3lbs. She had made Richard a promise on her first day in the Biggest Loser house that she would lose 4 stone. Katey stepped on the scales and now weighs 17 stone 9lbs. She has shed 4 stone 8lbs and a total bodyweight percentage of 20.58%. She hadn’t broken her promise to Richard but hadn’t quite managed to steal the holiday from Mark!

Jamie got on the scales and he now weighs 22 stone 9lbs. He has shed 5 stone 13lbs and when his weight appeared on the screen, he kept shouting ‘1lb!’. If he had managed to shed just one more pound he would have lost a total of 6 stone! He has lost 20.75% of his total bodyweight.

So Mark was the Biggest Loser out of the Eliminated contestants and won himself the luxury holiday at Loch Lomond in Scotland. Now then, would he be taking a certain other contestant with him? But that, as Miriam said, is another show!

Finalists - Sadie

The four Biggest Loser Finalists were the next ones to be revealed and weighed. Sadie was the first to smash her way through her before picture. Goodness, she looked amazing with legs all the way up to her armpits! She was wearing a very sexy short, orange dress and looked every inch the funky young woman she is!

Kate Garraway asked Sadie if she had managed to stick to her regime in the nine weeks she had been at home. She said,

‘I’ve managed to stick to the regime pretty well. It’s been tough cos you’ve got temptation in your face but you’ve just gotta learn to say no!’ Kate asked her did she sometimes hear Angie shouting at her? Sadie said,

‘There are the few times where I think, oh I’m tired and I might just stay in bed and the I think, right what would Angie say. She would probably scream at me, get out of bed, so yeah, I definitely hear her voice!’

Kate Garraway said that there was no escape from Angie and Sadie agreed. Kate asked Sadie to climb on the scales. Her starting weight was 21 stone 5lbs. She has lost a fantastic 6 stone giving her a new weight of 15 stone 5lbs. She has lost a total bodyweight percentage of 28.09%! Sadie’s Nan was so over the moon and proud she shouted out when she saw how much Sadie had lost!

The Finalists – Maria

The colour dress Maria had chosen to wear so totally complimented her. She looked elegant and beautiful and so full of confidence. She is a changed woman! Kate asked her how she felt and she said brilliant. Kate told her her she looked younger, trimmer and fitter. She asked her if that was how she felt inside. Maria said,

‘Totally. I feel a new woman. It’s been great!’

Her starting weight was 15 stone 11lbs. She has lost 3 stone 13 lbs and now weighs in at 11 stone 12lbs and her total bodyweight percentage lost is 24.89%. Not quite enough to beat Sadie but a massive percentage all the same. Angie and Richard looked so proud of her and her husband looked adoringly at his new look wife with real emotion on his face.

The Finalists – Carol

Carol started the competition weighing exactly the same as Maria and, when it came to the last weigh in to decide who would go through to the Final, she and Maria were tied. Carol burst through the before picture of herself onto the stage, well at least we were told it was Carol! She looked amazing and half the age she looked at the beginning of the Biggest Loser journey! Her hair is now much shorter, cut into a sleek, fashionable bob and her dress perfectly complimented her colouring and her bubbly personality. She looked stunning!

Kate Garraway said,

‘Wow! You’re a fox. Look at you!’

Carol said,

‘I feel fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! Never felt this fit, never felt this healthy. I’m not just blending into middle age now. This is a new lease of life for me!’

She came into the house weighing 15 stone 11lbs and has lost 4 stone 13lbs and now weighs 10 stone 12lbs. She has lost a total bodyweight percentage of  31.22%! She said,

‘It’s blown me away that has. I know we’ve said this before, me and Katey but, you’ve (Angie and Richard) saved our lives. Both of you. And I know you had an awful lot to put up with! Incredible. Thank you,’

Angie replied that it had been a pleasure and that she was sure Richard would agree with her. Angie said it wouldn’t have been the same without Crazy Carol!

She had beaten Sadie and was now in with a chance of getting her hands on the £10,000 Biggest Loser prize!

The Finalists – Kevin

Kevin smashed his way through the before photo of himself and proceeded to do squats as soon as he got through! He looked totally amazing and very, very suave in his suit. He really did look like a totally different man and almost unrecognisable from the Kevin that entered the house weighing 23 stone 8lbs. Angie and Richard were literally jumping for joy when they saw him! Kate said,

‘You look gorgeous. You look like James Bond!’

Kevin said,

‘I look a little bit better than that old photograph over there!’ indicating his ‘before’ photo.

Kate asked him where Mr Belly had gone and he said,

‘Mr Belly has gone down, down, down isn’t that right Jonathan?’ talking to his son who was in the audience.

He got on the scales and waited for the numbers to tick by til they got to 14 stone 2lbs. He has lost a huge 9 stone 6lbs and a total bodyweight percentage of 40.00%. Jonathan ran onto the stage to hug him and the audience went crazy! Angie and Richard ran forward to hug him and congratulate him.

He said it was the best feeling on the planet and that his time on the Biggest Loser had changed his whole family’s outlook when it comes to food and exercise. He said it was possible for anyone to achieve what he had because he had gone into the house in an absolute mess. He has come out looking like James Bond! He told Angie that she still scares him but, he felt he owed his life to both of the trainers. Richard told him that he knew he could do it from the word go!

Kevin is the Biggest Loser for 2009!
